M recently chatted with Ryan McCartan all about his upcoming movie Summer Forever and what it was like working with his co-star Alyson Stoner. If you recall, Ryan EXCLUSIVELY admitted to us that he was actually a little starstruck by Alyson, having grown up watching her on TV. Now, in our EXCLUSIVE interview with Alyson, the former Camp Rock star is responding to Ryan's "starstruck" comment.
"Yes, he was starstruck, but what really happened was that he went around singing Mike’s Super-Short Show on set all day long and asking me to do the hand signal," Alyson reveals. "And I never did it for him, I refused. Lovingly refused."
And we just had to ask: Has Alyson done the Mike's Super Short Show hand signal since the Disney Channel mini show ended?
"Nope. I retired the hand signal in 2000-negative-17," she admits.
Aside from working with Ryan, she is also starring in the upcoming movie The A-List.
"My character Lacey is the voice of reason, the moral backbone. She is supportive to Eric throughout his entire journey when he’s popular and unpopular," she dishes. "And she’s more of the spiritual speaker type, constantly looking inward for an answer before judging or assuming. So she’s like the girl that you’d want to be best friends with growing up. And she’s sort of like bohemian in her style. She probably does yoga..."
Are you excited to see Alyson in a bunch of upcoming movies? If you are, there's more great news: She's busy working on her debut EP, which should be coming out soon!
