Whether you're trying out for a new sport or play, making a final presentation in class, or joining your besties at the mic for karaoke fun, there's one thing that everyone experiences at some time or another: and that's stage fright. It could be an exciting butterflies-in-your-tummy feeling, or a really scary moment – but you know that you have to push through it to have fun or get it over with!
M recently caught up with singer Camryn, and even though she's a total pro at taking the stage for performances big and small, she admits that she still gets nervous almost every time.
"I get terrible stage fright! It doesn’t matter if I’m about to sing in front of 30,000 people or 3 people I will be just as nervous for both!" she explains to us exclusively.
Luckily, she's picked up some tips to make it less of an awful thing and more of an empowering moment!
"My advice is to embrace the nerves and use it to your advantage," she shares. "For me, the adrenaline pumps me up for a performance and gives me more energy to be wild and crazy on stage."
