It's the day of movie news! Thanks to the D23 Expo we've been uncovering tons of up-until-now top secret information about some pretty exciting upcoming Disney movies. First Beauty and the Beast, then Finding Dory, and now Disney's Twitter handle just tweeted out the first official movie poster for their new live-action film The Jungle Book.
The live-action, 3D adaptation, which follows Mowgli's internal adventure as he leaves the jungle he calls "home," is set to hit theaters in April 2016 and boasts such vocal talents as the Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong'o.
Just yesterday, Lupita went on an Instagram spree, revealing that she met her on-screen Jungle Book son, Neel Sethi for the first time while at D23.
"...We watched a teaser with the #d23expo crowd for the first time. The world is in for a treat," Lupita captioned the above photo.
