Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart brought Edward Cullen and Bella Swan's vampire falls for a human girl epic romance to life in five blockbuster movies and off-screen, they dated for the duration of all the filming. (Minus that brief time they went through a bit of a rough patch during their relationship when Kristen was spotted kissing the director of a movie she was filming.) It wasn't until after the couple split though that Kristen opened up about how tough it was being in a relationship that everyone felt like they were a part of.
"I hated it that details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world. When I was dating Rob, the public was the enemy—and that is no way to live," Kristen said. "People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product. It wasn’t real life anymore. And that was gross to me. It’s not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I’m doing in my life. It’s that I don’t want to become a part of a story for entertainment value," she shared in another interview.
Woah, for sure not an everlasting love like that of Edward and Bella.
