Who's ready for some magic? Disney Channel announced the network has acquired the rights to develop a new television series based on the upcoming teen book series Upside-Down Magic.
The series — the first book in which is currently available for pre-order and hits book shelves on Tuesday, September 29 — follows Nory, the youngest member of a talented magical family, who ends up in a class for misfit magicians. There, Nory encounters some pretty misguided wizards, who help her question whether or not her magic is "upside-down" or actually right-side up.
The whole concept sounds very Wizards of Waverly Place, which is only adding to our excitement. It's about time Disney introduces more wizards into the mix! Don't you think? It'll be awesome to see all the cool special effects and to meet a new magical family!
