Disney Pixar's latest animated movie Inside Out is sparking a ton of emotions in people, but it's mostly bringing joy to people! After all, the film — which boasts the voice talents of Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black — is smashing records and taking home the title for Biggest Opening Weekend ever.
Previously Avatar held the record but Inside Out officially surpassed 2009 flick by more than $13 million. The animated film, which focuses on the efforts of Riley's emotions Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear, brought in more than $90 million in the domestic box office during its opening weekend.
That's so crazy but we can't say we're surprised. Inside Out was totally meant to smash records! Honestly, we don't want to speak too soon but it wouldn't be the most shocking thing if it followed in the footsteps of the Academy Award-winning Big Hero 6. ;)
