Cameron Dallas is one of the most popular stars to rise out of the Web community. With millions of followers on pretty much every social media platform following his every move, it could get kind of overwhelming and in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Cam opened up about how exactly he decides what to share from his life with his many fans and how he tries to always be real with them and leave a positive impact.
"There’s obviously a sense of responsibility that comes with having this following and having fans, and so there’s a lot of stuff that I won’t dare to post just because I want to be a good influence," Cameron explained. "I just watch my content, but for the most part, I usually just post [what I want to post]. My lifestyle’s not really something where I’m thinking in my head, like, 'Oh crap, I shouldn’t post that.'"
So although he is very open with his fans, he's also conscious of what he shares too. This is definitely going to be interesting to see how things play out when his reality show starts to air on Netflix! And in case you were wondering what his stance is on deleting photos from his account, he said he simply just doesn't do it.
"I have [deleted a post before, but] I don’t do it too often anymore. I feel like that was more like when I first started . . . Sometimes I’ll look back and be like, 'Wow, why did I even upload that photo? My hair looks dumb.' But most of the time I just laugh and I think that’s a part of growing, so I just leave it up," Cameron said.
Well there you have it. Cameron keeps everything up he ever posted, so now we're suddenly feeling a need to scroll through his Instagram to the very beginning to see what hidden gems are in there!
