Ellen DeGeneres will forever be known as the wonderful whale speaking voice of Dory in Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo franchise. In anticipation of the upcoming Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory, Ellen spoke with Yahoo! about her thoughts on keeping fish as pets, and the plot of the sequel film.
"I think that fish should be in the ocean,” Ellen said. “It’s what this whole sequel is about: It’s about rehabilitation and putting them back in the ocean… And we have to protect our oceans. Hopefully that discussion starts with this film, because we really need to protect that environment.”
Do you agree with Ellen that fish shouldn't be kept in aquariums, but should instead be free in the wild?
Finding Dory will arrive in theaters on June 17, 2016. Do you plan on seeing the movie?
