Charlie Puth and Bella Thorne seemed to be on the cusp of a new relationship when they were spotted getting rather cozy on the beach and walking the red carpet at the Miami Jingle Ball concert. Charlie took to Twitter though to vent his feelings, after he stumbled across what he thought was a new interview with Bella's most recent ex-boyfriend, Tyler Posey, in which Tyler said he was still dating Belle. This Charlie to spill his feelings in a series of tweets.
"I can't believe what I'm reading. No one should have their heart messed with like this, and I'm not going to be in the middle of it. I don't know Tyler personally, but I know he shouldn't be treated this way," he wrote. He didn't stop there though, going to say that he felt Bella lied to him.
It seems like he just didn't want any part of the drama.
I want nothing but peace for all, I'm just removing myself from this.— Charlie Puth (@charlieputh) December 22, 2016

Of course Bella had to defend herself and tweeted how she and Tyler have been broken up, so she didn't cheat on him like Charlie implied, and she saw Charlie as just a friend anyway.
Ty and I have been broken up for like over two weeks and charlie and I ARENT DATING we are friends. That article was written forever ago.— bella thorne (@bellathorne) December 22, 2016

"Charlie and I were hanging out..he saw an old interview and got [mad] but instead of texting me and asking about it he put it on Twitter," she later added.
