Season finales are always a little tearful — they leave you on the edge of your seat, desperate for more, and with no other option than to wait until the premiere of the next season. But what if there might not be a next season?
The guys of Big Time Rush gave M an exclusive interview about the up-in-the-air status of their Nickelodeon series and expressed their sadness at the possibility of their fourth season being their last.
Logan Henderson says of filming the season finale, "It was emotional. We all gave each other group hugs after we wrapped — we even kissed the ground!"
"We cried," Kendall Schmidt confesses in the August issue. "It was bittersweet and everyone was kind of sad, including myself."
The boys of BTR are not yet sure whether or not their show will make it to another season, but they remain hopeful that BTR isn't over.
"Each time someone gave me a hug they'd be like, 'It's been a lot of fun!' and I'd be like, 'Yeah!'" Kendall says. "But a part of me wanted to say, 'I don't think this is it. I think we're definitely going to be coming back and doing something.'"
James Maslow is as positive as Kendall, saying, "We've spent years with these people. They're family, so it's a little tough, but hopefully we can go back and film more."
And even if the fourth season ends up being their last, Big Time Rush wants you to know that they're not going anywhere, so long as you, the fans, want them around!
"Even if we don't do another TV season, we, as Big Time Rush, will continue to play shows," Carlos Pena vows. "If fans want more, we're going to give them more!"
