Yesterday, videos surfaced of Jack Gilinsky getting arrested in an airport and fans everywhere were super confused. They weren't sure if this was just a prank the two pals were playing for an upcoming video or if it was the real deal. Turns out, it was the real deal.
Jack Johnson took to social media to explain that Jack G walked out of the store with the sweatshirt on and immediately turned around to pay for it once he realized what he had done. But, the police were called anyways and Jack G was put in handcuffs – as we previously reported.
He was let out of jail on a $5,000 bond and must go back to court to sort the whole situation out on October 14th.
But, Jack J is just really happy to have his friend back. The two posted a video on Twitter in the car dancing to Aretha Franklin's song, "Think (Freedom)" and it's literally everything. Jack J captioned the video, "#FreeGilinsky thanks for your help guys, we finally did it."

Of course, fans are super happy that Jack G was released but we should still note that even joking about stealing something isn't funny and could land you in a lot of trouble – clearly.
