For a long time, Justin Bieber was better known for the negative headlines he produced rather than the music he made. But now, the "What Do You Mean?" singer is back on top, with two super successful singles and an album on its way come November 2015. Now that Justin has reclaimed his pop music throne, he's reflecting on some of the poor choices he's made over the years.
"Well, what it was was I had a bunch of knuckleheads around me," Justin very candidly admitted while visiting The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. "Never good to have knuckleheads around."
But the Biebs admits despite all of his regrets, making those mistakes were a huge part of him deciding it was time to grow up.
"I went through a place of just trying to figure it out and making decisions," he revealed. "You have to figure out what you're okay with and not okay with."
Now that he has conquered that rough patch and returned with slammin' music, Justin is finally comfortable admitting it's been difficult for him, growing up under a microscope.
"I just happen to be in the spotlight and in front of cameras all the time," he continued. "And they caught all of those moments."
Honestly, we're proud to see Justin admitting some of his faults. It doesn't matter how long you're down, as long as you stand back up. We couldn't be happier to see JB doing just that.
