We totally admire Laura Marano for always being herself, no matter how quirky or silly her true self may be. The Austin & Ally star recently announced that she will serve as 2013's Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Ambassador, something she says she's dreamed about since she was a little girl. M had the opportunity to talk to Laura about the importance of giving back, getting involved, and of course, being yourself.
"I think it's such an amazing campaign that inspires kids here to help kids other places," Laura exclusively tells M. "It's a campaign that shows it doesn't matter how old you are. A lot of people want to give back but they don’t know how... This is the perfect thing to incorporate a really fun holiday and giving back all on the same night."
Giving back isn't the only thing that Laura advocates for. She also dished to M that she believes no girl should ever be afraid to be herself.
"I think the best thing to know is that every single person has insecurities and we should try to find confidence in those insecurities," Laura says.

"We all have quirks, we all have flaws, and that’s what makes us who we are," Laura tells M.
