Looks like another celeb couple has called it quits. A new report is stating that Louis Tomlinson and Danielle Campbell's relationship is officially over.
When Louis started dating Danielle back in November of 2015, a lot of fans were a bit confused. Louis' son Freddie Tomlinson with Briana Jungwirth was about to be born and it seemed like not the best timing for the start of a new relationship. Danielle stuck with him throughout the baby's first year, the One Direction hiatus, and the passing of his mother late last year, but it looks like all of that might not have been enough to keep the relationship afloat.
According to the source, and similar to most Hollywood couples, the pair will remain friends and ended on good terms.
"Louis and Danielle have made the decision to split up but they are still going to be mates," a source told The Sun. "They’re still talking to each other and there is no bad feeling whatsoever. It’s really sad because Danielle has been there for Louis through this horrible time. She has stood by him, remained loyal and continued to be a great support, which is exactly what he needs. Sometimes these things just don’t work out and for Louis and Danielle this was the best way forward."
Rumors that they had split up began to appear after they had had not been seen together since Louis’ appearance on The X Factor in December. The break up rumor picked up even more steam when she was spotted holding hands with Gregg Sulkin just days before New Year's Eve.
The last trace of anything Louis related on her Instagram was from three weeks ago on Christmas Eve when she posted a photo of them cuddled up to wish him a happy birthday, writing in the caption a simple: "Happy birthday my love ❤️."
We really do hope that if this split is true that they are both doing okay. Danielle supported Louis through a lot and they both seemed genuinely happy together.
Can you believe these two have broken up? Tell us in the comments.
