Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Hilary Duff giving advice on making friends!
M Reader mgirl815 asked: I'm in eighth grade and this is my last year with my class. I wanted to spend it right, but I don't have any real friends. They're either mean or backstabbers. I thought my best friend was really my best friend, but it turns out she never was. I don't want to sit alone at lunch. How do I deal with this?
And Hilary's answer is: "You just have to be yourself. If you want to hang out with people, go approach them and be like, 'Yo let's hang out!' It's not important to have to try and be cool or try and act a certain way in front of some people because you want them to be your friends. You have to be yourself. You have to let people like you for who you are."
