Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking starting a different school than your BFF -- and being afraid you'll drift apart!!
M Reader tater28 asked: My bestie and I are going to different high schools in August and she's already telling me we shouldn't be sad if we stop talking. I don't want to lose her! What do I do?
And M Girl's answer is: "The only way you and your BFF will drift apart is if you let yourselves! Yes, you'll be making new friends at your brand new schools, but that doesn't mean you can't make time for each other when you're not in classes. You guys can set aside a certain time that you hang out. If you keep at it, you'll always stay friends. Friendship takes a lot of work -- but if you make it a point to maintain it, your friendship will never fade!"
