Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking getting over stage freight!!
M Reader musicxxforever asked:
I love to sing and I really want to perform in the school's talent show -- but I have stage freight! Any advice?
And M Girl's answer is:
"Being afraid to sing in front of a crowd is normal. You just have to get up there with as much confidence as possible and show everyone how great you are at it! Sign up for the show, and while preparing sing in front of as many people as you can: your parents, your BFFs, anyone! And then you'll slowly get more comfortable performing in front of people. Even with tons of practice, you'll be nervous to sing on the night of the talent show -- but everyone gets nervous, even celebs! So don't sweat it and do the best you can. I know you're going to rock it!!"
