Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking feeling more comfortable around other people!!
M Reader dramaticpic299 asked:
I feel really insecure a lot of the time. I'm homeschooled and when I'm at home, I feel totally fine and comfortable. It's when I go outside that I feel totally insecure. What can I do?
And M Girl's answer is:
"That's all a part of what you're used to. You've basically grown up at home so you feel really comfortable when you're there. That's why going to the outside world makes you a little nervous because you're not used to it. I would totally suggest doing something fun with other kids in town. I know it may feel nerve-wracking at first, but it will totally help you feel more comfortable being outside your homeschooled world. Join a soccer team in town or debate team. A club around anything you're interested in would not only help you grow as a person, it'll help you make friends and have an awesome time! Go for it!"
