Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking setting high goals for yourself - and achieving them!!
M Reader peaceperson asked:
I'm a really fast runner and I'm going to try out for the track team next year. But my ultimate goal is to get to the Olympics! Any advice?
And M Girl's answer is:
"You can achieve your goal the same way Olympic althletes achieved theirs - practice really hard! Figure out what kind of running you like the most (and what you're best at!). Then, practice tons on it! Join the track team, strive to set major records, and then you can move onto other teams outside of school. Practice all year round, rather than just during the regular track season. In no time, you'll see a huge difference in your running and the times you set for yourself. With tons of practice and even more mental strength, you can achieve anything! Just put your mind to it and most importantly, believe in yourself! You go, girl!
