Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking wondering why guys act the way they do!!
M Reader JustinBieberBabe21 asked: I want to go to Haiti over spring break to help, but my mom doesn't want me to. This thing is, I'm only 13. What do I do?
And M Girl's answer is: "You have to realize that you're mom is just worried about you, that's all. I'm sure she's proud that you want to go and help, but she doesn't want anything to happen to you while you're there. Just keep talking to her about it and show her how responsible you are. If she doesn't give in to it, it's only because she wants to protect you -- every parent would be worried after hearing all the hardships people are facing over there! It's great that you want to help but there are things you can do here to help also! Start a bake sale at school or a food drive in honor of the victims in Haiti. You can send over donated clothes and food to the victims -- that would help them out so much! Talk to your school and see if there's something you can organize and your help here from the US will be huge!"
