M Reader borntosing wrote: "Hi! I've wanted tot be a singer since I was little. My school is having a talent show so I decided to sign up. Well, my principal announced the talent show contestants, and EVERYONE (besides my best friends) is making fun of me! It is making me cry myself to sleep. What do I do to stop the bulling and harassment? Any advice?"
And M Girl's answer is: "First of all, good for you for signing up for the talent show! It takes a lot of courage to perform in front of a live audience. Don't listen to what the kids at school say. Kill them with kindness--don't let the haters drag you down. However, if things get too out of hand, talk to a trusted adult, like a parent or teacher, about what they are saying to you. This is your dream and performing at your talent show is a great way to get started. Be sure to practice, practice, practice so you can wow them with a killer performance. And always remember, 'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!' Good luck!"
