Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about dealing with boy crazy friends!
M Reader rachray33 wrote: "I have a friend that is so boy crazy! Right after she finds out the guy she likes either has a girlfriend or doesn't like her, she moves on to a new guy. Every time I see her, which is twice a week, she's always talking about her new crush. It's really annoying. How do I tell her she needs to realize that she shouldn't just like guys because they're hot and that she needs to stop talking about them without hurting her feelings?"
And M Girl's answer is: "Just try and tell your friend that she talks about boys too much. When you're young its normal to have a lot of crushes, but it shouldn't be the only thing on her mind! Find something else to talk about. Find a hobby or a sport or something else that the two of you have in common and focus on that when you two are together. Just let her know that you aren't that boy crazy and don't want to talk about boys ALL the time. It's okay to talk about boys and crushes sometimes, but it shouldn't be the focus of all your conversations. It shouldn't hurt her feelings to tell her this. Just be honest. Good luck!"
