"I just moved thirty minutes away from my old town but I still do dance classes there. Two of the girls from my old school go there and I thought, "Great! I could keep in touch with them!" But now, they only talk to each other. One of the girls was one of my best friends when I used to live there. They talk to me somewhat but they always go off on their own and talk. I understand that they can talk too but I would like to have a conversation with them! I feel so left out. Please help!"
And M Girl's answer is:
"Moving is hard. You leave behind your friends and your school and start a new chapter in your life. Sometimes you want to stay close with your old friends, but it isn't always easy. Since your two friends still go to the same school, they probably have a lot to talk about from school that day. You might feel a little left out because you don't go to that school anymore and you aren't around the same people as them. The three of you can still be friends though and they shouldn't be excluding you. Try telling them how you feel and that you feel left out. Moving is hard enough, your old friends shouldn't make things any harder for you. Good luck!"
