"Hi, I'm an 8th grader and I was one of the lucky people that got to choose their high school for next year. I choose my high school and turned the paper in. The next day the lists were posted and I found out that my BFF is going to a different high school. I can't change schools! What do I do? Please help me I'm so nervous."
And M Girl's answer is:
"Going our separate ways from close friends is tough. Our BFF's get us through hard times and share many unforgettable moments with us. Going to separate high schools will be a difficult adjustment at first, but with time it will get easier. You'll still be able to keep in touch and hang out with your BFF. And remember you won't be the only one nervous to go to a new school. Have an open mind and take this opportunity to get to know new people. Get involved in school activities, and you'll find people with similar interests as you. Good luck!"
