Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about making friends.
M reader Ajhay wrote:
"I have a problem making friends. I've tried entering new clubs to make a close friend, and it doesn't work. I've also tried giving myself courage, but I'm really shy. What do I do? It's been months of trying."
And M Girl's answer is:
"Making friends can be difficult. Try looking at this in a different way. Don't put so much pressure on yourself, thinking that you must make friends. When you join clubs go into them with the mindset that you want to have a good time, not necessarily that you must make a friend. Getting close to others means getting to know them. Invite them over, host a sleepover, and hang with them outside of school. Not only will it give you the opportunity to feel more comfortable around them, but it'll also give them a chance to get know what a great girl you are. Good luck!"
