Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about overcoming fears.
M reader IRockYourSocksOff, wrote: "I think I am the most shy person ever! Whenever I have to speak up in front of people, my voice gets soft. I've tried to control it, but it's way too hard! I failed at an audition because of it. I really want to apply for an acting school, but my voice would get soft during the interview/audition, and I might not get in! Help"
And M Girl's answer is: "Public speaking is a big fear for a lot of people! Don't get too discouraged because you are not the only one out there dealing with this. Before a big audition or presentation, make sure you practice in front of a mirror for a few times, and then move on to practicing in front of your family, and then your friends. If you do it enough times, you'll be so used to speaking that it will be no problem! Good luck!!"
