Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about friends.
M reader emmiegirl55 wrote: "In my school Pre-6th grade is elementary. Then 7-12 is at the high school. Well, I'm going to be an 8th grader next year and I'm super psyched, but there are kids coming over from the elementary school. And I'm going to miss the old 8th graders. I know I will see them but its not the same. So how should I adapt to the new kids coming over?"
And M Girl's answer is: "It's important to remember that the old 8th graders will still be your friends. The kids coming over from the elementary school will give you a great chance to make new friends. Making new friends does not mean you will lose your old ones. It'll just give you a chance to expand your social circle. And remember, you were in the same spot as the 7th graders last year so give them a chance! Good luck!!"
