Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about school.
M reader elainedoerksen1 wrote: "I have a really really scary problem. I'm done middle and elementary school and now I'm in high school. I'm afraid I'm going to be picked on because I'm new, or if I go out of line, the girls are going to beat me up or shave my head. It's a new school and new teachers and new students and everything. So i want to know, how do i stay unnoticed by the other girls but still make friends with other kids who are 14?"
And M Girl's answer is: "Starting a new school is scary for everyone, but you won't be the only one. Rather than trying to go unnoticed, let your true self shine. Join a few clubs, or try out for a few sports and pretty soon, you'll have plenty of friends. Most likely you will not be picked on, but if you are, make sure to reach out to an adult that you trust who can stop the situation. Good luck!!"
