M reader rachray33 wrote: "I feel overweight. I'm not model skinny. I'm average weight for my height. But i feel fat. I'm NOT going to starve myself or make myself puke, but how can i look into the mirror and feel good about myself? And seeing all these actresses who are super skinny don't make me feel any better.How can i feel better about myself?"
And M Girl's answer is: "It's impossible to hold yourself to the standard of actresses in Hollywood. The important thing isn't to be super skinny, it's about being healthy. Gaining self-confidence is a long-term process that tons of celebs, like Demi Lovato, still struggle with. Try to look yourself in the mirror and repeat "I am beautiful" 5 times before you go to bed. It might seem silly at first but pretty soon, you'll start to agree. Good luck!!"
