Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about boys.
M reader WishIlivedInAustin wrote:
"I went to camp for 3 weeks. This guy and I REALLY hit it off. We danced at all the dances (there was a dance every weekend) and we slow danced to all the slow songs. We had the longest goodbye hugs (the night before and the morning we had to leave) And I think he was even crying a little. I was going to kiss him, but there were too many people. He lives in Austin and I live in Houston. I have a car and don't mind driving once a month or so to see him. But he won't even try to make the relationship work. The only reason he can give me is "I value face-to-face time too much." Any ideas on how I could possibly convince him to just TRY and make this work? Help!"
And M Girl's answer is:
"Long distance relationships are definitely tough. It's even tougher to start off a relationship long distance. He is probably too scared to try because he doesn't want to get attached since you live so far away. Maybe if you pay him a surprise visit, he will be so thrilled to see you, he'll forget all about his fears and ask you out. Good luck!!!"
