Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about stressing over school.
M Reader Bieber Fever13 wrote: "I'm in high school and I'm taking one honors class and I'm in a program that helps you get into college. I know it will pay off someday but I'm so stressed out! It's so much work and my parents expect so much from me. They tell me to try my best and everything but I'm really stressed and I'm getting headaches everyday. Please help!"
And M Girl's answer is: "School can be stressful. It's important to work hard because it will definitely pay off but not over work yourself. If your struggling in your classes maybe consider getting a tutor to help you better understand the material. Try to schedule one day in your schedule where you can relax and have some time to yourself. Everyone needs some down time. If it's becoming unbearable, let your parents know how you're feeling. They only want what's best for you and wouldn't want you to be stressed out. I'm sure if you told them how you felt, they would want to help you! School is very important but so is your wellbeing. But don't forget hard work does pay off in the end! Good luck!"
