Hey M Girls!
We have a BRAND NEW spin on the daily advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have our M Girl answer it!! Today, we're talking about friends and family colliding.
M Reader penguin2cool wrote: "My former friend keeps flirting with brother and telling him bad things about me! What should I do?"
And M Girl's answer is: "There really isn't much you can do. Your brother should be smart enough to defend his own sister. If he still wants to be friends with someone who talks bad about you, that's his decision. Maybe her and your brother actually get along, and as much as that stinks, you can't force him to stop being friends with her. Just talk to him about the situation. Maybe he can mend the friendship between the two of you and get her to stop talking bad about you, or maybe he can just tell her he doesn't feel comfortable hearing bad things about you. Either way, your brother should stick up for you. Family comes first. So I would talk to him. Good luck!"
