Nobody can drag Niall Horan down, especially after the massive success One Direction has amassed since dropping their latest (and Zaynless) single "Drag Me Down." While speaking to BBC Radio yesterday, the Nialler admitted he actually wasn't prepared for the Directioners' reaction to their newest release.
"We thought we'd do a bit int he UK and trip around a little bit," he told the radio station. "Things have changed. It's pretty good, there's nothing to complain about really. I don't think you can describe it too easily but it's been amazing so far."
Wait a minute, so Niall didn't expect 1D to be as successful as they are? That's so shocking!
As far as "Drag Me Down" goes, the single went to number one in over 80 countries and is their biggest first-week hit in the United States so far.
"When we dropped the single, we didn't really realize that was the reaction it was going to get," Niall explained.
"You bring out music and never know what [the reaction] is going to be like, so to do it five years down the line and have your most successful single now is pretty good," he added.
Uh, yeah, we'd say it's pretty good, too, Niall! If we're being 100% honest, "Drag Me Down" is actually currently playing in our office. And we also may be dancing around to it as we're typing. Maybe. We can neither confirm nor deny.
