If anyone knows how to handle fame or a totally public break-up gracefully it is Little Mix member Perrie Edwards. Ever since her split from Zayn Malik, Perrie has held her head up high and has really focused on her career which is awesome and something to definitely look up to.
But, Perrie recently opened up about how being a role model for a lot of girls can be a bit intimidating because it is such a big responsibility!
She told Digital Spy, "I think it's just a very scary thing to say. It's a big responsibility and it can be very intense. If people want to look up to you and be like you for you just being yourself, then fair enough, but we are young girls, we're not perfect."
Perrie continued, "And obviously it's different because everyone can see those mistakes you are making. Everybody is there to have a comment on it, or a judgment on it."
Wow! What a candid and open response. We love how down-to-earth Perrie is and the way she acknowledges that just because she is famous doesn't mean she can't mess up sometimes!
