Some of your favorite stars like Peyton Meyer from Disney Channel's Girl Meets World are wearing orange today. And no, it's not a coincidence — it's to help spread awareness of a very good cause.
"I’ve chosen to be a part of this anti-bullying campaign to let other kids know it's always better to be kind!" Peyton reveals in the new issue of Twist magazine.
Today is Unity Day and people everywhere (including celebs like Peyton) are wearing orange and CustomInk t-shirts to spread the message of hope — to let kids everywhere know that bullying is not OK and they're not the only one going through it.
CustomInk's Be Good to Each Other campaign extends beyond just one day. According to a CustomInk survey, 83 percent of teens admitted that they've been "teased or bullied." But here's an even more important statistic: 72% of teens said they'd unite as a group to stand up against bullying. Together, we can stop bullying in its tracks.
How will you celebrate Unity Day? Will you spread the message of anti-bullying by wearing orange or sticking up for a friend? Leave a comment!
