Back In March, Dylan O'Brien suffered an accident on the set of his movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Thankfully, he will be just fine but while production on the movie was supposed to start back up on May 9, it was announced that unfortunately, that isn't going to happen now because Dylan needs more time to heal. There is no longer a set date as to when the movie will resume filming again.
"The resumption of principal photography on Maze Runner: The Death Cure has been further delayed to allow Dylan more time to fully recover from his injuries. We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible," [a statement from the movie's production company, 20th Century Fox said.
"His injuries are very serious, and he needs more time to recover," Dylan's publicist also said in a statement.
Yikes, this isn't the best news. The movie was scheduled to hit theaters in February of 2017, but it's unclear if it will still make that deadline. What's most important though is that Dylan gets 100% better before he heads back to work!
