In an EXCLUSIVE interview with M, Teen Beach Movie 2 star Ross Butler dished all about the shocking monsoon that temporarily halted the Disney Channel Original Movie from filming while in Puerto Rico. But that's not the only thing we chatted with Ross about. He also had a lot to say regarding one particular scene that he had to shoot with his co-star Maia Mitchell. And get this: Things got a little... well, awkward!
"Honestly, everybody was so comfortable with each other, I can't really think of anything where anyone was embarrassed," Ross revealed EXCLUSIVELY to M. "There was a scene I shot with Maia which was not so much embarrassing as it was just awkward."
Yikes! Sounds intense, doesn't it? Keep reading to find out which scene Ross is talking about!
"For it to look good on camera, I had to get really close to her face, maybe four inches away, and have a really excited conversation with her," Ross dishes. "Also, my dialogue was a bit tricky... and we couldn't stop laughing about it."
Good thing Ross and Maia are both such talented actors! We can't imagine being only a few inches away from someone's face and having to recite some tricky lines. These two are total professionals though, so it's no wonder they got the cut they needed for the film!
"I remember she kept giving me this look like, 'You're so weird,' which was totally warranted for the scene. But I knew it wasn't for the scene," Ross reveals.
Ross, we totally feel your pain, but we're glad you and Maia got through the awkwardness. And not going to lie, we can't wait until TBM2 comes out this summer 2015 so we can watch for this no-doubt hilarious scene!
