Ross Butler has dished on the awkward scene he had to film with Maia Mitchell and the crazy monsoon that temporarily halted production on Teen Beach Movie 2, but now he's revealing some SHOCKING admissions about what it was like working with Zendaya and the rest of the KC Undercover cast. Ross has appeared in a total of five episodes so far, so he's gotten to know the KC family pretty well.
"Zendaya was really impressive to work with," Ross EXCLUSIVELY dishes to M. "She's a very talented actress and professional, which made my first sitcom experience awesome. And honestly, that's how I'd describe the whole cast and crew."
And check this out, he even got to meet and work with Bella Thorne, who guest starred on an episode! (They're also working together on the upcoming movie Perfect High.)
Like Ross mentioned, it was his first time on a sitcom set, so understandably, he was a little hesitant the first day he showed up for work!
"Everyone was extremely welcoming my first week there and we all bonded really quickly," he reveals. "I was nervous at first because I wasn't sure if I could hold my own in a sitcom, but being so comfortable with everyone really allowed me to explore my role creatively and not have to worry about being judged or intimidated."
We're not surprised the KC Undercover cast was so welcoming to Ross; They seem so sweet and nice, they'd probably welcome anyone onto their set with open arms. Since we know for a fact that Zendaya makes a totally great spy, we had to ask Ross if he thought he'd be a good spy, too.
"Oh, I think I'd be a horrible spy," Ross EXCLUSIVELY admits. "Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to be one, but it's for the same reason I'd be horrible at it; I'd get really into it."
Sounds like Ross would have a hard time concentrating on being sneaky and is more concerned with all the flashy gadgets a spy would get to use!
"If I got a gadget like a laser watch, that thing would be out of battery before I even went on a mission," he jokes. "Also, I'd probably make my own sound effects when getting into a fight with someone."
So what's the one quality Ross has that would make him an okay spy?
"The only thing I got going for me is the enemy wouldn't take me seriously, and I'd hopefully take advantage of that underestimation," Ross reveals.
