Austin & Ally is the kind of show that stays with you, long after the closing credits of an episode roll. That goes for all of us Disney Channel fans and the actors and actresses who brought the beloved series to life. It will warm your heart to know that even though the show is over, two of your favorite A&A stars recently paid tribute to the show in their own little ways. First up, Raini Rodriguez shared the most inspiring and emotional letter on Instagram where she recalled the moment she up and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of acting in the first place.
"12 years ago today, my family and I moved to LA to pursue my dreams of becoming an actress. It's amazing to say that not only are Rico and I STILL working, but even getting into music and other behind the camera work too," she shared over the weekend.
"Of course, it hasn't been an easy journey, there have been no's when I prayed it would be a yes, doors closing, with some windows opening, I've missed so many of my families births and birthday parties, but knowing what my goals in life are, and the support/love from my family and the blessings from God, is what makes this all possible," she continued. "I have had an amazing career so far, I've grown in my craft, filmed some amazing roles, I've met so many incredible people and gained some fans along the way. Thank you 11 year old Raini, for believing in yourself enough to pursue this career, but even more so, thank you to my mom and dad for believing in me from day one. I live to make y'all proud. 💜."
How amazing is that? Austin & Ally was such a huge part of Raini's career for so long, and even though she's moved on to other projects, she still fondly looks back at her time growing up on our televisions.
Meanwhile, Ross Lynch has been getting nostalgic about his own Disney past across his social media.
Fans certainly took notice when he recently changed his Instagram bio to include a tribute to his A&A character, Austin Moon, with the appropriate moon emoji 🌙.
Not only does it look like he misses this character, but he and the guys from his band R5 recently got short haircuts together, causing fans to speculate on Instagram that Ross was going back to his Austin Moon hairstyle for a secret project.
While sadly there's no reunion news we can report just yet, we can prove that Ross isn't just looking back at his character Austin specifically. He also took to Twitter to share he was also re-watching some old Teen Beach Movie footage and loving every second of it.
Watching BTS from Teen Beach Movie... Its kinda awesome. We had a lot of great memories.— Ross Lynch (@rossR5) February 13, 2017
Why no Brady character call-out in the Instagram bio, then!? We need updates.
