Life has been kind of a whirlwind for Ryan Potter ever since he voiced Hiro Hamada in Disney's Oscar-winning animated film Big Hero 6. A little over a week ago, Ryan and the rest of the cast were at the Oscars, celebrating their win for Best Animated Feature. We chatted with Ryan post-Oscars and to say that he was elated is absolutely an understatement.
"It was absolutely an unreal moment," Ryan dishes to M. "I absolutely adore this film and I adore what Disney did with it."
We have a feeling that if Baymax were around, this would be the perfect time for him and Ryan to bump fists and say, "ba la la la."
Ryan took us through his BH6 journey — from the moment he got the phone call from Disney execs, through the recording process, all the way to his seat the Oscars — and you won't believe what he's revealing about everybody's favorite new Disney film.

Ryan and his co-stars weren't expecting to take home the award!
"It was interesting because we really weren’t expecting to win," Ryan dishes EXCLUSIVELY to M. "We believe in ourselves and love ourselves. It’s like, with any awards show — with the Oscars — you really have a one in five chance. We were nominated alongside some amazing films!"
