Fans of Girl Meets World are still super bummed the show didn't get as many seasons as they feel it deserved, but there is one thing to be grateful for: the series introduced the world to some of the biggest young stars of the moment. Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter, Corey Fogelmanis and Peyton Meyer are naturally now actors you are totally obsessed with, since you know, you spent these last few years watching them play some of your fave characters. So what does Sabrina, the Maya hart herself, really think about how the series ended?
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, she explained that since she and her castmates are still the best of friends like they were when they were filming, her life hasn't dramatically changed all that much since the series wrapped for good.
"It hasn't changed because we're all still so close. We were really lucky we got to do three seasons, so many shows don't. So we were very lucky," she admitted.
She does have a point. The show might've not lasted as long as the series it was based off of Boy Meets World did (that show was on the air for seven seasons) but still, the episodes and stories they created are something to be truly proud of. Plus, knowing that the stars are all still besties is always sweet to hear.
Ever since the show ended though, Sabs has been in full-on pop star mode, promoting her second album EVOLution and she's currently on tour with The Vamps before she embarks on another headlining tour this summer. She was asked if her acting days are behind her, and she hinted that something special is brewing and she's been working on both aspects of her career all along.
"Luckily you can do both and I'm super exited to tell everybody what I've been up to. I can't right now, but there's definitely still both in the work," she confessed.
Girl is not slowing down! Could she be starring in another television series? Or is a movie calling her name? Time will tell but it's clear Sabrina isn't going anywhere. Maya Hart would be proud.
