Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift both spent their weekends spreading Christmas cheer in the most selfless way possible this year – by bringing joy to others. While most spent their Christmas Eve and Christmas day with close friends and family (as they should), both Selena and Taylor took the holiday spirit a step further by extending their company to those who were least expecting it.
Selena went back to her home state of Texas this holiday season and popped into Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth to visit sick kids on Christmas Eve. A source told E! News that the "Kill Em With Kindness" singer spent time with about 14 kids, where they decorated cookies and hung out in the hospital's play area.
"She was very sweet and amazing with the kids!" the source told E! News. "There were some tears, so it was pretty emotional for some patients."
So sweet! A patient named Madison appeared to super thrilled to see the singer on Christmas Eve.
"Selena came to see Madison today! Love that she took time out of her busy schedule to make her day! Shelby and Madison both remember watching her on Barney, Wizards of Waverly Place and have been listening to her music for years! Such a great gift of kindness she showed us today!!" Madison's mother wrote alongside her Instagram photo.
Soon after Selena's special visit, the singer's bestie Taylor surprised a family of Swifties at their very own home. The reason for her visit? To pay respects to her oldest fan, 96-year-old World War II veteran named Cyrus Porter. Cyrus absolutely loves listening to Taylor's music, as he told Ozarks First that he uses the music to become closer with his grandchildren.

The "Blank Space" singer shocked Cyrus and his big family with an epic surprise entrance. Their private hangout was complete with tons of selfies and a mini concert. Can you imagine?
