Did you catch Selena Gomez on yesterday's episode of Ellen? In addition to a great performance of "Come and Get It" in the prettiest purple maxi dress we ever did see, Selena used her interview as an opportunity to tell Ellen all about her starstruck run-in with Brad Pitt at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards.
They knocked on my door and they said, 'Brad Pitt would like to come in,' and I was like, 'He can come in.' I was trying to play it cool and be really nice." Surprisingly, Gomez couldn't play it "cool" for more than a few minutes -- "As soon as he walked out, I ran and I hid under the craft service table for, like, two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening."
How sweet is that? After watching Selena tell her story, we wanted to see which other young stars have endured that familiar starstruck feeling. The results were surprising!
Jennifer Lawrence had a similar experience as Selena Gomez, except with John Stamos, the actor best known as Uncle Jesse from Full House. After running into Stamos at a party, the Oscar-winning actress explained, "I didn't want to meet him because when I meet people it's never good, and I was avoiding him. But then my friends brought him over because my friends are jerks, and I started really freaking out. And he asked me if I was on something and I said, 'No. This is just me.'"
Have you ever felt starstruck around someone else? If so, who was it? Did you hide under a table or play it cool? Either way, there's nothing wrong with feeling a little starstruck every once in a while!
