Selena Gomez might've taken some time to step out of the spotlight, but she's back in action and working as hard as ever. Not only is the starlet working on new music, but she has a new mini series she executive produced hitting Netflix. Selena has been attached to the film adaption of the best-selling novel, Thirteen Reasons Why for quite some time and it's finally hitting the streaming service on March 31, 2017.
Sel posted this stunning throwback selfie and int he caption, she explained how it's from the day she went to meet with Netflix to pitch the show.
"This was the day I was nervous as hell going into @Netflix for the first time to talk about @13reasonswhy -my mom found this book in 2009 and worked her [butt] off to make it with me, guide me and tell this story authentically (the only reason, beside Jay this project was even made)." she wrote in the caption.
Sel worked so hard to make this happen, all thanks to her mom Mandy, which is just all types of amazing. She shared a trailer for the series on Instagram too.

Selena called this her "passion project" and just from this trailer alone, it looks like it has definitely been worth the wait!
