The tragic death of Christina Grimmie affected so many people and it's still something the singer's family, friends and fans think about. It was a devastating loss and one person in particular was truly hurt by horrific tragedy: Selena Gomez.
Sel knew Christina for years and the "Good For You" singer's mom Mandy Teefey and her step-dad Brian, managed Christina and were heavily involved with the budding songstress' career. Christina was a huge part of their family and Mandy just took to Instagram to share a touching moment her youngest daughter Gracie Teefey had that proves Christina's spirit will forever live on.
Mandy shared a photo of the prayer card that was handed out at Christina's funeral. Along with this memento, she told a story in the caption that explains how Sel's little sister still thinks about Christina, months after her sudden death.
"'I have competed well, I have finished the race.' My lil G has been walking around today after school saying "I love you, stina". I wasn't sure why but told her that was very nice. I went to lay her down in bed and this was under her pillow," Mandy wrote.
"No clue how she found it. All Christina is locked in a cabinet. XO - lil nugget is missing you, as we all do! I have a feeling this was your way of sending the love back to her," she added.
This is simply beautiful and even though Selena's sister Gracie is not even four years old yet, the memory of Christina is something that will always be with her and her family. Christina's legacy will continue and there are plenty of people who will make sure this happens, starting with little Gracie.
