Harry Styles seems to draw some intense feelings from fans. It's a deep-seeded love that makes people do some rather interesting things and now, someone has decided to create a play centered on the One Direction singer. Yes, an actual play and it's as amazing as it sounds!
Caitlin McEwan has created an entire play called Harry, which will run in London. It's about two girls who become best friends and really bond over their love for 1D and Harry specifically. Over the course of their friendship though, they seem find the one thing that brought them together is starting to tear them apart, according to the show's official description. It essentially centers on the life of a fangirl, in what Caitlin hopes is a truthful way.
"I don’t think we portray [the fans] in a negative light. We did some interviews with fans of One Direction and other boybands and we wanted to portray their experience honestly," Caitlin said. "They do some extreme things, but they acknowledge that they are extreme. But also there is an element of fandom bringing people together which we touch on in the play."
So feeling the need to book a flight to London now to witness this magic? We're right here with you. Let's hope Hazza takes the time to check out this show, since it is about him after all!
