Imagine buying tickets to see your favorite artist perform live, and then right at the last minute the show is canceled. As disappointed as that may be for fans, imagine how hard it must be for the stars themselves who have to let down thousands of fans. Things happen, and sometimes illness strikes at the most inconvenient times – like during a worldwide concert tour.

In October of 2015, One Direction cancelled a show in Ireland last minute when it was announced that Liam Payne was sick.
"I'm so sorry to everybody I disappointed last night. I'm feeling better now. I really hope everyone can make the rescheduled date on Friday," he wrote to his fans on Twitter.
