I Didn't Do It is back this Sunday for an all new episode on Disney Channel and we're pretty sure it's going to get a little crazy. Lindy (who is played by Olivia Holt) decides to play matchmaker for Garrett (Peyton Clark) and the new girl in school. (Believe it or not, she might even be more socially awkward than Garrett!)
Since the new girl in school has a chance at being Garrett's very first date, M grilled the cast members all about their very best dating tips. What are some do's? What are some ABSOLUTE don't's? Keep reading to find out what your fave stars Olivia, Garrett, and Sarah Gilman revealed!
Going on a first date can be SUPER intimidating. You might wonder what you should wear, where you should go, if you should put on some makeup, or how you should act. Olivia's #1 tip? Just ask like yourself.
"It may sound cheesy, but completely [be] yourself," Olivia reveals to M. "The way you know someone is really diggin' you is if you show them you."
That's a really good tip! Peyton also shared something anyone going on the first date (or any date!) should keep in mind.
""Don't take your phone out the whole date unless absolutely necessary," Peyton Clark reveals. "It may sound silly, but it's polite and a simple way of showing your date that they deserve your full attention."
Speaking of phones and texting, how about your emoji game? What are some do's and don't's of texting with your crush?
"I never use the moon or sun emojis. They have creepy faces," Sarah Gilman admits.
"I'm an emoji girl. So I believe there's no wrong in emoji's. In fact, I think the more emoji's, the better the convo," Olivia says.
It's unavoidable. Everybody (sooner or later) has an awkward encounter while on a date. What's the strangest thing that happened to Sarah, Peyton, and Olivia?
"Finding out he's liked every single one of my friends. Super awkward. We didn't go on a second date, by the way," Olivia dishes.
"For our first date we went to a trampoline jumping place," Sarah dishes. "They had dodgeball on the trampolines and while we were playing I accidentally pegged a little kid and they started crying. I felt so bad and I'm pretty sure my date was embarrassed."
"Any date in which there's an initial connection, but you just don't click on the day and end up sitting in awkward silence most of the date... those are the worst," Peyton says.
Last but not least, we asked Sarah to describe the ideal way of wooing someone on a first date. (Maybe this worked on her? LOL!)
"Fly them on a private jet to Paris for an authentic macaroon," Sarah says jokingly. "Then take a helicopter to the Swiss Alps for chocolate fondue. End the night with a gondola ride through Venice. Then give them a new car to remember you by, preferably a Ferrari. If that doesn't work, being yourself works too."
"Lindy in the Middle" airs on Disney Channel this Friday, July 10 at 9pm ET/PT. Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the comments below!
