Girl Meets World fans' hearts are completely shattered today. Disney Channel unfortunately decided to not renew the series after three seasons on air, and the writers put an end to the speculation by confirming the news on Twitter last night. Before the hope of a fourth season was crushed, GMW stars spoke out about why the show should be saved. But now that it's all said and done, a very unexpected cast member is spilling his guts about the cancellation and his rocky relationship with the cast.
Uriah Shelton, who plays Josh Mattews (Riley's uncle on the show), has been said to have some beef with the cast – particularly Rowan Blanchard. But despite their conflicting views, Uriah took to Instagram to give a heartfelt statement regarding the show and the cast.
Thank you Girl Meets World. #GMW A video posted by Uriah Justus (@uriahjustus) on Jan 5, 2017 at 12:08am PST

"I've done like twelve takes on this, so I'm just gonna like speak from the heart. Uh, I found out what happened with Girl Meets World," Uriah said with tears in his eyes. "Despite all the problems I've had with, you know, like certain members of the cast, um, I want to congratulate every one of them on making a show that really freakin' meant something – like seriously. It helped so many people."
Ugh, Uriah getting all choked up is seriously making us tear up too. It's nice to see that even though Uriah and the cast may not have been the best of friends, the show truly meant a lot to him. It's nice to see that Uriah can shove any prior hostility aside to genuinely thank the people who put their hearts into this show.
He continued, "You helped a lot, a lot, a lot of girls – and a lot of boys. You helped a lot of kids get through times, where they might not have been able to get through without y'all. So thank you for that. You know, you did good. So thank you to the writers and the producers and to the cast."
And Uriah didn't stop there. He took to Twitter as well to share a screenshot of a text message he sent to Rowan herself, confirming that they really did have drama off-set, but he is willing to look passed it just to congratulate Row for being at the center of such an amazing show and wishing her all the best.

Oh what a beloved show Girl Meets World was, and it's clear it meant a lot to the cast too. Maybe Uriah sharing these truly honest and heartfelt messages will bring peace between him and Rowan, something positive that can potentially come out of this overall sad situation. The series will be so dearly missed, but you better believe we're on the edge of our seats to see the remaining three episodes that will be airing this month. It's been said that there's a lot in store, so hopefully GMW fans will be given the closure they deserve.

It doesn't look like Uriah Shelton and Rowan Blanchard have any beef by the looks of this photo they posed for together.
