She tweets again! Zayn Malik's ex-girlfriend Geneva Lane, who days ago bashed the former One Direction star on Twitter in regards to his recently broken-off engagement to Perrie Edwards, has officially issued an apology.
I'd like to apologise for my previous tweet. The language was inappropriate and under the circumstances my comment was insensitive.— G E N E V A (@wanderlustayne) August 5, 2015
The "previous" tweet to which Geneva is referring to included a very pro-Perrie attitude, although it did reference Zayn as a derogatory term. "[Perrie] deserves so much better than to be treated how she has for so long," one tweet read. "So many lies and so much deceit."
While we love seeing gals stick up for each other, we definitely would have preferred if Zayn's ex didn't take him down in the process.
Honestly, we're not surprised that Geneva apologized, as a few hours after posting her original rant, she tweeted about the "wrath" of Directioners. Sounds like Zayn's fans were none too happy about her poor choice of words!
I forgot what the wrath of 1D fans was like! Its only an opinion guys! But thanks for making my feed so active... It's been a while 😂— G E N E V A (@wanderlustayne) August 5, 2015
